The Objective Simulation Framework (OSF) is a Missile Defense Agency (MDA) development that integrates Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) and digital representations from each of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) program elements into a system that accurately represents the performance of fielded BMDS equipment against a variety of threats in realistic environments.
EnVention, LLC, is currently accepting applications for the position of OSF Senior Systems Engineer. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: (1) interface with customers and other stakeholders to develop unambiguous and explicit definition of needed simulation functionality; (2) derive OSF system, functional and software requirements; (3) collaborate with software developers to implement needed functionality; (4) develop requirements verification success criteria and assist test engineers in assessing framework capabilities; (5) maintain and manage requirements changes; and (6) support special trade studies used to evaluate system architectures and designs.
